This is one of our hidden gems that one usually does not run across in the brochures when looking for historical sites to visit. This place is called Christ Church and is located over in Lancaster County, Virginia. A little over an hour from Williamsburg. It is a highly significant site due to it’s architecture and it’s history. One of the best preserved structures from early Colonial history. If you have studied anything about American History, you will well remember the name of Robert “King” Carter. Well it was his money that funded the construction of the church and his own home was not far from here. To learn more about Christ Church and how to get there, please CLICK HERE. This is one of our expansion sites. We put these sites up do to limited space on this site and to give you more information.
Another Gem We Have For You Is The Historic St Luke’s Church In Smithfield, Virginia

The oldest Anglican church in Virginia, the United States, and one of the oldest structures in the United States. This Gothic, not Gothic revival but true Gothic church is incredible in both it’s simplicity and in it’s elegance. We had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot on this site of both the inside and the outside of this structure. Our new review site can be found by CLICKING HERE of the photo shoot. This church is a national monument and national treasure. A must see for anyone interested in American History. TTC Media is presently putting together an online historic church driving tour web site and this church is in our top 5 must see. The Historic Christ Church above is also on our upcoming driving tour.
Historic St Luke’s is only a short drive from Williamsburg, Yorktown, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Hampton, Newport News and other close by areas. A one hour drive at the most from the list above. (We are based in Gloucester, Virginia and it was less than an hour for us).
